未読山の中から、イタリアの大学の解剖学と並行して行われていた、人間を「解剖」する行為の研究を読む。文献は、Park, Katharine, Secrets of Women: Gender, Generation, and the Origins of Human Dissection (New York: Zone Books, 2006).筆者のパークは初期近代のイタリア医学史研究の第一人者の一人で、優れた仕事が沢山ある。その中で90年代の半ばに出版した解剖学についての二点の論文は、目からウロコが落ちるような独創的で射程が広い視点に基づいたもので、私も授業ではよく使っている。そのパークが書…
