School of Rock 映画"School of Rock"の中で、bee’s kneesというコトバが出てきた。 「とびきり良いもの」「ベスト」という意味の口語のbee’s kneesは、恥ずかしながら私には馴染みがなかった。 "He thinks he is the bee’s knees when it comes to fashion."（「ファッションのことになると、自分が最高だと彼は思っている」）のように使うようだ。 どうやらアメリカ英語の口語で使うようだが、職場の同僚のイギリス人に聞いてみたら、彼も使うという。品のない(vulgar)コトバじゃないから、私が使っても安全だと…
