全開は77年でしたが今回は71年のA&Mです。最初はど定番から、といっても実はヒット曲すらよく知らないのは、あまりにもクリーンで清廉潔白なイメージが強すぎたからなんでしょうね。"For All We Know"(ふたりの誓い)は3枚目の「Carpenters」からの大ヒット。"Superstar"や"Rainy Days"なんかも入った快進撃中の1枚です。実はこの曲は無名時代のダイアン・キートン目当てで見た「ふたりの誓い」の挿入歌だそうです。作者の一人のフレッド・カーリンといえば映画「カリフォルニア・ドリーミング」なのですが...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=…
