うみねこのなく頃に
クリプトノミコンと言う小説がある。これに、10トンとまではいかないが黄金が登場する。 そのインゴットの集合はジャングルの奥地に組まれた形で放置されていた。 主人公は所有者からその位置を経度緯度で伝えられ、GPSを駆使してそこまで見ていく。黄金はそこに野ざらしで存在した。 金なので、化学変化を普通では起こさないので、保管に気を使わなくてもよいのだ。さらに、ジャングルの奥地と言うことも手伝って、運ぶ手段がないのである。ジャングル自体が伐採でもされない限り、黄金は誰も手が出せない。 まあ、これは持ち主でさえも手が出ないと言うことであろうが。 10トンの黄金は、島の森林地帯にあったりはしないだろうか、…
