緑色のネオンに照らされた小道を歩き帰路につく人々。 住宅街と飲食街の境目が曖昧な神楽坂らしい光景です。飲食街としては決してけばけばし過ぎず騒がし過ぎず、住宅街としては帰路途中が少し輝き過ぎて急に暗くなる。日が暮れた後、神楽坂の坂道を中心にした左右脇道を入るとそんな光景があちこちで見られ、良い雰囲気を醸し出します。 高級フレンチがあれば、庶民的な八百屋もあり、焼き鳥屋や雑貨店があれば、神社仏閣もあり、ブックカフェもあれば老舗喫茶店もあり、そして洒落た戸建てがあれば古びた安アパートもある、その他にもいろいろな顔を持つ街です。私がもし引越を考えるなら、一度は住んでみたい街ベスト10に確実に入ってくる…
