「北京は今」の第二弾です。 新しいショッピングビルが並び、欧米のブランドの巨大看板が目を引く北京中心部の王府井（ワンフーチン）。「北京の銀座」といわれる市内有数の繁華街だ。 今風のファッションに身を包んだ若者が行き交う路上に、写真パネルが並んでいた。写真の内容は、核実験のキノコ雲や炭鉱労働者の笑顔など、派手なショッピングモールには場違いなものが目立つ。新中国建国６０周年を記念する路上写真展だった。 中華人民共和国は１９４９年に誕生し、今年、人間なら今年、還暦を迎える。 １０月の国慶節には大規模記念行事が計画されているが、それ以外にも大小さまざまなイベントが展開されている。この路上写真展もその一…
