一週間ほど前の話になりますが、"Mashed"という BBC 主催のHack Dayイベントに行ってきました。BBCはイギリスの中でもテクノロジー企業として有名で、最新技術もどん欲に取り入れているようです。例としては以下のようなものがあります。 iPlayerというオンライン上で過去一週間分のBBCの番組を視聴できるサービスを提供。 Perl On RailsというRuby On Rails ウェッブフレームワークのPerl版を独自に開発。（ただBBC内部でもRails は使われているようで、London Ruby User Group のメーリングリストにもよく求人メールが流れてきます） B…
