離島
どこにも入らない
本格的に鳥見を始めて1年半後の2022年2月、初めて乗った八丈航路。久々に行ってみることにした。なつかしの黄色い船。風が強くて出航決定はぎりぎり、条件付きとなった。 ジャンジャンジャ～～～ンと銅鑼がなって岸を離れる。後は寝るだけ。 波は高かったがさほど揺れもなく三宅島に無事寄港。そのあたりから起きだして甲板で朝日を待つ。これだとそんなに波高くないようにみえるなあ。高かったのよ。４ｍあったから。 途中、御蔵島には雪雲のような幕が垂れていた。この右にある島の上部は白くなっていたけど、八丈より南の青ヶ島でも前日雹が降ったという寒さだった。とにかく着込んで万全の態勢で臨む。 八丈にちかづきました。ボー…
