昨春、企画段階で関わった番組が3/6㈪7㈫にWebで放映されます。 日本の「絆」精神を海外に紹介したい。 英語の「チャリティ」は、富める者が貧しきものに施しを与えるというニュアンスがあるけれど、日本では手を差し伸べる側と受け取る側に格差が感じられない。 そこをうまく伝えたいのだが、よい事例がないか、と制作者から相談をうけ、 「そうだよねー。日本人は困ったときはお互い様。なるほど、海外ではそれが普通ではないのだ」 ということで、気仙沼の民宿「唐桑御殿つなかん」のひとびとを紹介しました。
