※評価が今イチなアルバムの中に眠る、隠れた佳曲をご紹介していきます。 アメリカのヘヴィ・メタル・バンド、ディオ（DIO） が、1994年にリリースした6枚目のアルバム『Strange Highways』の10曲目に収録。 90年代のモダンヘヴィネス化したDIOに対しては、ファンの間でも評価が分かれるところでしょう。ロニーが参加した、92年のブラック・サバス『Dehumanizer』を、違和感なく受け入れたなら、好意的に捉えるかも知れません。 筆者の場合は、ディオにはサバスのようなヘヴィネスを求めていませんでした。むしろ80年代のように、アップテンポかつ、ロニーの歌唱力をフルに発揮できるメロディ…
